Apple and Microsoft have always done things quite differently and it's no secret that Mr Jobs and Mr Ballmer don't always see eye to eye. Of course, Microsoft are heavily invested in the mobile phone sector, so you would expect them to be very focused on the launch of this new competitor in their marketplace, the iPhone.
So when a reporter asked Microsoft CEO Ballmer what he thought about this new competition, it was interesting to see his reaction. After all, although this man is known for his eccentric personality, he is also the CEO of one of the biggest multinational companies in the world. You would expect a bit of respect for a product that could end up damaging sales a bit at the high end of the market (or perhaps even change the dynamics in the mobile phone market for software providers)...
